I’m driving to Carson City today so I can watch first-hand as certain Republicans vote for the Democrats’ billion dollar tax hike.
Frankly, and don’t tell them, but I’m secretly hoping some of them don’t chicken out at the last minute and do the right thing. Since the tax hikes are going to pass anyway, I’d just as soon the “bad” Republicans – and we pretty much know already who they are – vote for ’em so that we’ll have a better chance to take them out in GOP primaries next year.
Remember: It’s not enough to just elect more Republicans; we need to elect better ones as well.
And a couple Libertarians and IAP’s wouldn’t hurt either.
