Former Secretary of State Colin Powell says he’s a good Republican; every bit as good as Dick Cheney and Rush Limbaugh. And as proof, I guess, Powell revealed on “Face the Nation” yesterday that in past presidential elections he voted for Democrats John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama. If that’s the definition of a “good” Republican, it’s no wonder I’m no longer a Republican.

Chuck,
Consider that 90% of African Americans vote Democrat nearly all the time. Since Powell apparently votes Republican two thirds of the time (based of the Democrats who were not mentioned) I think that it is fair to say that he goes above and beyond what could be expected from an African American voter in regards to loyalty to the Republican Party.
