Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman continues to float the notion that he might throw his crown into the race for governor next year….either as an independent or in the Democrat primary against the Son of Reid. And many folks continue to pooh-pooh his chances, maintaining Oscar just won’t “sell” in the rurals.
An extremely likable fellow with a buxom babe on one arm and a martini glass at the end of the other won’t sell in Tonopah? Or Elko? Or Ely? Or Winnemucca? Don’t bet on it.
