Where’s Amodei on Collectivist Bargaining? The best solution payday loans
Back in February 2003, then-Sen. Mark Amodei was asked by reporter Geoff Dornan of the Nevada Appeal about giving state workers the same collectivist bargaining sledgehammer power that local government workers enjoyed over taxpayers. According to Dornan, Amodei “said he supported collective bargaining for state workers four years ago, again two years ago and will support it this year.”
Now that Amodei is no longer a legislator but the GOP party chairman, we can’t help but wonder if his position has changed, especially in light of Republican efforts to not only keep state workers from getting this power, but stripping the locals of it, too. Indeed, the Nevada Republican Party has been awful quiet on this issue this session.
