Judge Craps on First Amendment

Another sad day for First Amendment in Nevada. District Court Judge James Wilson ruled Wednesday that a group of citizens voluntarily banding together to participate in our electoral process must first register with the government before they’re allowed to run television ads.

This is one of the best reasons yet why it is CRUCIAL that Nevadans reserve the right to elect our judges. And the next time Judge Wilson is on the ballot, citizens should kick his anti-speech butt to the curb. (Uh-oh, was that “express advocacy”?)
