Knicker Bomber News

In one of the starkest examples of closing the barn door after the horse is already out, Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) now says she “wants no more Guantanamo Bay detainees released to Yemen in the wake of a Christmas day terrorist attack hatched in that country,” saying the country was “too unstable.”

Duh. Ya think?

When will DiFi Democrats realize the problem isn’t which country we release terrorists into; it’s releasing the terrorists at all? And when will they realize that the Knicker Bomber’s effort wasn’t a crime, but an act of war?

Oh, and in case you missed it, ABC News has reported that two of the masterminds behind the Knicker Bomber’s effort to blow a passenger jet out of the sky were at one time enemy combatants who were held at the Guantanamo Bay prison. However, the pair was released in 2007 as pressure to close the military facility by forces on the Left – meaning Democrats – escalated.

Instead of holding these barbarians so they couldn’t try to kill more Americans, our government sent them to Saudi Arabia where they were enrolled in – and I sh*t you not about this – an “art therapy rehabilitation program.”

How many Americans are going to have to actually die before the Left’s head-in-the-sand crowd wake up to the reality of this war on terror?

One final thought:

It’s abundantly clear that the Knicker Bomber matter was a giant fuster-cluck by the federal government via various agencies. And some people actually think it’s a good idea to put our health care system in the hands of these bureaucratic morons?
